Putting Farm Animal Welfare on the Agenda . . .

Animal care organizations across Canada have developed the Farm Animal Welfare Speakers Bureau (FAWSB) to put farm animal welfare on the agenda in this country. This new program can sponsor all or a portion of the costs to bring high-quality speakers to conferences and workshops in Saskatchewan.

In addition to raising general public awareness, our main goal is to inform people in the livestock and poultry industries on the latest in animal welfare research and to encourage discussion on the importance and benefits of responsible animal management. This is part of the new national project "Putting Farm Animal Welfare on the Agenda".
